Is this the earliest example we have of a John Lennon composition? When he was still a silver beetle he helped Johnny Gentle compose Ive Just Fallen For Someone. Lennon contributed to the middle eight. The song sounds pretty ordinary, but the middle eight suddenly soars, so maybe it is true. Here is a link to the song:
